Due to a spike in Coronavirus cases in Mumbai, BMC has reportedly made COVID-19 negative tests mandatory to enter malls. Will it affect John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi's Mumbai Saga business?
The rising cases of Coronavirus in Maharashtra, and overall, are raising an alarm. While the Government is doing everything possible to curb the spread of the virus, it appears that the second wave of Coronavirus has hit the nation. Though some parts have been put under lockdown again, recent reports state that BMC has created a new guideline for the malls to operate in Mumbai. As per the reports, now citizens will have to provide a COVID-19 negative test in order to enter a mall. This makes us wonder if the new rule will affect the business of films releasing like Mumbai Saga.

After months of staying shut, theatres finally opened and the entertainment industry seemed to be steadily getting back to normal. However, with the new guideline set for malls, it appears that theatres situated in malls may witness a decrease in footfalls, thus affecting the business of films. The new rule is going to be applicable from March 22 and therefore, Mumbai Saga has four full days to gain the maximum business.
Same is the fate of Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra's film Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar that is making it to the theatres today. The film is finally making it to the theatres after multiple delays. Last Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's horror comedy Roohi made it to the theatres and it made decent business. We await box office numbers of Mumbai Saga and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar.
